The clamps are now tight, and all the dash lights come on, headlights, indicators work, radio works, clocks work, but the starter doesn't engage. There is no clicking of any kind from the starter, not even a single click. Its as if the starter isn't there! And I can't see how a loose battery clamp would affect the starter motor once re

Had a few of these not heating up or random gauge issues and its ended up being either the head gasket, cylinder head or block issues. The only common issue is they get no heat through the vents. Usually the coolant is a funny colour and there's back pressure in the coolant reservoir too. Hope this helps. Quote.
Mondeo Mk4 2010 2.0TDCi instrument cluster off. I started to have issues with the instrument cluster going completely blank, lights go off from the panel, including the air conditioning display. First for a short moment every now and then, now it is blank most of the time. Everything works though, lights, signals, cruise control etc.
