First time - P243C dpf regen frequency, P117a engine oil over temp - oil level slightly high, checked PIDs - pm acc to high - injection correction done, checked boost pressure sensor - ok, carried out pdf regen -- suvvessful PIDs within spec, replaced oil, reset oil data - all ok.
Drop the key. Get the key wet. Expose the key to any kind of magnetic field. Expose the key to high temperatures on places such as the dashboard or hood, under direct sunlight. If the engine does not start with the correct key, and the security indicator light keeps illuminating or flashing, the system may have a malfunction.
Next morning set off for work and after half a mile, DPF light came on flashing, shortly followed by check engine light and car went into limp mode. Drove straight to Mazda and they diagnosed fault code p2002 (DPF efficiency below threshold).
The Diesel Particulate Filter [DPF] will be a problem with all makes and models until the manufacturers get the mechanics of DPF sorted just like they had to with the catalytic exhaust system when they were introduced. The latest Colorado, Ford Ranger, Mazda BT50, have the device. The Ford and Mazda have a recall notice on their DPF due to fire.
The DPF will undergo passive and active regeneration, as you drive. If the DPF is starting to fill up, just give it a clean (don’t wait till the ash plugs are impacted, the DPF light is flashing, and your stuck in limp mode), reset, and continue enjoying your car!!! 🙂👍 Happy Days Bro.
. To resolve the flashing PDF light invovolved a trip to Mazda at Bognor Regis and cost £135 for an oil filter and oil change plus reset PDF. The Mazda semi-synthetice oil was £9.50p a litre please compare with Comma fully synthetic above.
aust_norm said: They checked it out and apparently there is a bulletin out from Subaru Australia advising of the issue which is someting called " oil dilution ". The fix is to drain the oil (I assume it was engine oil) and reset the DPF sensor. All up a 15 to 20 minute job that was done for free. Norm.

The DPF light is flashing. I have already been to 3 specialists. Everyone has a different version. I have the code P2459. Dpf, it is not clogged. 1.service, lambda probe.2 service we have to do an investigation because we do not know. (found that there is pressure on the DPF) 3 service, we will rinse the DPF chemically and then look for further
My 2008 (1st Gen) 2.0 TS has had its DPF light flashing for almost 2 years with no obvious detriment to performance. Mazda 6 1st Generation (2002-2008)
